Just wondering has any of you run your cars on a 1/4 mile strip and what kind of times were you getting ?

Someone in a cerbera did 12.2 secs IIRC.

Tuscan should be similar, apparently they get better traction off the line too.

They have a sprint at the Zolder event although not a 1/4 mile these times give you some idea how quick Tuscans are against other TVR's

I was asking as I took mine on a strip for the first time a few weeks back, and I "only" managed a 13.26, I am not saying that it is slow, I just thought it might have been quicker.

People have said to me practice makes a big difference and since it was my first time (three runs), it should get quicker as I get more practice in.

whitey has done a 13.1 at 112 mph, no traction at all, since then, got suspension set up properly, and engine rebuild so thinks an easy 12 now...

yep, and DannyLT was beside me in his 4.5 LW Cerbera running 13.0 at 107mph on a freezing cold day in Oct 00. Both could have easily got 12's with some heat on the track. Seemed I had much less traction, but now people go on about the Tuscan having more traction. Rubbish. End of the day, Tuscans are so much quicker than the family mans Cerbera's. Read Autocar 0-100-0 and weep.

It was before his RR conversion/suspension work and before my engine re-build and proper 3D wheel alignment.

Does the factory still throw in a free baby seat if you have to buy as Cerbera as you are in the family way ?

so his 360bhp-ish standard 4.5 was quicker than your 380bhp RR over the quarter? - must be down to the driver then, I reckon!!

baby seats galore in my car mate - its like a branch of bl00dy Mothercare!! can't beat the squeals of delight from a 4 and 2 year old when I hit the loud pedal, mind...

I have just watched a video a collegue showed mr from santa pod with a standard tuscan doing 1/4 mile in 13.1 reaching 108mph. damb fast but I know it can be quicker (sub 12.5) as has been seen.
I wonder how the 4ltr fairs vs the 3.6ltr
