...on Thursday evening I met up with a couple of TVR-sceptic work colleagues and together with their Ferrari F40 and Corvette, had a blast round Kent. Both were very impressed with the Tuscan, its looks and its noise and I thought that two year's worth of pro-TVR chatter from me had won them over...

We proceeded to drive to a nearby pub with the Tuscan managing to stay (more or less) in the same ball park as the F40. And then....

...boing. Accelerator cable snaps...
The "told you so's" are still ringing in my ears. My office door is plastered with pictures of the poor old Tuscan being tended to by the RAC. I will never live this one down .

Don't sweat, I have a client who has recently been quoted twenty grand to replace a faulty fuel tank for his F40 Bet the RAC couldn't fix that !

Word on the street is that you had this fixed not too much later though, David! And it could happen to anyone, any car!

You should have impressed them with just how easy it is to fix the merest little thing on a supercar!!!
