My Tuscan seems to need the coolant topping up, maybe a leak but its not obvious. What should I use? Antifreeze + deionised water?

I used Halford Universal Antifreeze plus de-ionised water as at first I had to put in over a litre and a 1/2 to get it topped up!!!
Probaly linked to my headgasket, valve guide, piston ring, oil guzzling isues which are being sorted as we speak.
If it's just a small top up, normal water should suffice with a bit of a/freeze.

Valvoline coolant is very good too, it contains some kind of "lubricant" so better circulation of the coolant in the system, the metals doesn't get rust and also it doesn't evaporate easy, because its high quality.
In my car i've noticed (yes i know it is not a TVR) that the engine works better in lower temperatures and when it get hot and the fan kicks in then the temperature goes down easy. General observations was that the engine temperature was more stable. Propably working in lower temperature too when you are not tuck in traffic jam...
