Anyone know where I can get a car bra for my Tuscan ? Something that would shield the front end and the inspection panel.

I hunted around and all the usual car bra manufacturers (who are US based) don't list TVR.

Surely someones missing an opportunity here. If any car could benefit from some kind of temporary protection, perhaps jsut for use on longer / motorway journeys etc. then its this car.

Someone on the Cerbra forum had this idea as well www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=41691&f=6&h=0&hw=car+bra

Don't do it TMS have a very good bodyshop who can re-paint the front bonnet for a reasonable price.

Thats a fantastic idea for track day only use.

After 2 new TVR's one with Armourfend and one without, I would not get it again on the front end of the car. It is good for door sills, wheel arches and boot sill areas.

you could also just use bubble wrap taped on the front for track/airfield days...

I have them custom made and fitted to suit front bonnet only, but you have to supply your bonnet to have this fitted, as all Tuscans vary in size and fitment wll try and post some pic's tommrrow .

I have been told by the factory that the fitting of Armourfend invalidates the paint warranty (which inceidentally is only for 12 months).

I read somewhere recently to quote that "The TVR Tuscan looks like Raquel Welsh in a Hannibal Lecter Mask". Whoop Whoop Whooooooooraaah! All we need now is a decent bra like they had in 2 billion Bc or whatever it was called and we are in.
I own one. I get commments every day whenever I stop.
A Tuscan thet is not a Raquel bra. (Hmmm sounds a decent swap if she is still wareing it.) (Oldy but goody!)
Point to make.
Who gives a flying Cetacean Female Genetalia about paint chips. I you ever think about selling it you have entirely lost the plot.
I hear 'But I'm trading it in for a bigger one.'
Aren't they all big enough for Raquel?
But i can't afford to have two.
Pah!
Not god enough. Neither can I but I have auctioned ny entire family on EBay.
Face facts. TVR is an addiction. Filthy scroats from Broadwater Farm get help with their addictions from the Government.
Why can't we?
It's not like having a Tiv is illegal even.
We don't even break the law very mutch between speed cameras, etc.

hear hear - we did a show with some of our other fellow tuscan heads, and poor jason and lovely louise spent the whole day stopping little brats trying to peel off the armour fend - especially when the parents are doing it too!!!

people couldn't get their head around the fact it was for protection, not that the paint was scratched, nutters!!!

i find that driving at reasonable speed with hubby hanging onto the wipers stops the majority of chips.....
