Want to change the oil filter on my car, but alas and alack I can't find it anywhere. Can someone shine a light and tell me it's location?
Ok, obviouslt carefully remove the main bonnet (2 people) carry it over the car rearwards and set it down on something soft
Next remove the split pins on the Air filter box clips, lift the clips. Remove electrical connection and the rubber breather tube at front Air box. Using a aleen key driver remove the two top machine screws that hold the air box to the top of the engine, then if you look down under the engine side of the air box you will see another up and over clip that has to be unlatched. Now gently wriggle and lift the air tubes of and away from the engine air intakes and lifting the top of the air box off the bottom of air box gently pull the whole thing away forward - there is a small rubber pipe that has to be removed from rear of Air box and one under neath
Then you can gain access to remove the lower section..
..and then you get to the oil filter! phew
It's a bit of a pigs ear getting it all off but it gets easier each time you do it
Have I left anything out ?
bye
