I saw the pistachio Tuscan at David Gerald's the other week. Had it not already been sold I would have bought it on the spot . . .along with white suit, flares, fake tan . .

It was awesome!

Never thought I'd hear "a bit common" used in a sentence used to describe a Tuscan!

Common!!.......in the same way 'most Ferrari's are red' common.

Tuscans of any colour, are exclusive. To suggest a Tuscan of a particular colour is common is nonsensical.

Methinks you are up your own bottom.

ME i'M COMMON AS MUCK!!!

Each to their own as mondo says...

I personally think Grigio titanio is a ladies hairdressers colour...

On a more serious note, WTF, who cares, the cars all look fantatsic no matter what the colour and whoever drives them...I'd drive any Tuscan in any colour as long as I could at least have the opportnity to own a Tuscan.

Live and let live...Long live Reflex, the reflex, nah, na na nah...the Reflex... (80's fade out)

Remember though, that I said that the reflex and chameleon colours were a bit common, it certainly seems that the majority of people on this forum own that kind of car so I guess it must be true.

The only opinion that counts with respect to a cars colour is that of the owner - surely?

My car is a fairly common colour amongst many marques - but I like it.

Personally don't think "understated" and "Tuscan" fit together myself. but that's just me.
Evil menacing black is my favourite.

What a pointless finger pointing exercise this thread has turned out to be each TVR is unique they are spec'd by someone who has forked out a large sum of money, that spec includes what they think is a nice colour for the paint. Whether anyone else likes it or not is irrelevant, it's in the who gives a s**t camp !!!!!!!

Mondo, when you first came on here and tried to plug your website you took a bit of abuse from a lot of people about some of the content of other areas of your site. I thought fair enough to you as you seemed to be trying to do something that current and prospective owners may benefit from.

But reading your comments in this thread you're just having a go at people's personal choices! I don't think that's on and it's not something you see very often on PH. Pointless thread in my opinion.

Cheers..... Andrew

if the cameleon and reflex coloured Tuscans are so common, whay can't i find one to buy anywhere?

If i wanted understated I would buy something in silver (the new white, as police now have silver cars) and i wouldn't buy a TVR.

Outrageous cars NEED outrageous colours. (usually Purple!!)

Well, it's pretty obvious that most people will say that the colour of their own car is the best (in their opinion), and you're only going to piss people off by saying that a particular colour is the worst.

It seems a pretty pointless thread to be honest, as colour choice on a TVR is such an individual thing so there is never going to be a best or worst colour.

Mr Mondo clearly puts more emphasis on the colour scheme rather than the performance (or handling) of his Tuscan, you might even say he's a bit of a poseur (eh DeeDee?)

How about the colour of my first and 2nd Tuscans, you like no? Well that's a feckin shame aint it

Girly Pink:

Common Tasteless Chameleon Blue (Mondo's words not mine)

...and my current car, which is far too subtle so I'm having it resprayed in metalflake flourescent yellow
