Help - I've dropped a fuse behind the pedals

One of my fans (nearside) didn't switch off tonight after my drive back from London - I've had this before so I pulled the fuse and then promptly dropped it behind the pedals (a spark made me jump - a bit pathetic, I know)- Previously my aircon needed to re gassed when this happened before so presumably it's a back to the dealership job I have a spare fuse so can wack that in - so now my question...

Should I risk driving it with a lost fuse behind the pedals?

I'm a bit anxious as Keevil is round the corner i need the car fighting fit for that.

Why oh why do these things happen after the dealership closes - sods law I guess!

the outer pedal shroud comes off easily with the right allen key then you can see behind the pedals however the chance of a fuse getting in the way of the pedal action is IMHO remote good luck TONY
