I now feel 100 times better, just reading all those positive posts makes me happy, i personally have had 2 TVR's, a Tamora and a Tuscan S, both of which have been superb, and niether have had even little niggles really.
Now i've had my hit of positive posts this will keep me going until the week-end when the fine weather will be back and i can fly around looking for ferarri's and porches to annoy.

P.S. by the way,Thanks to all of you guys and gals that went to the piston fest at Long Marston (My home Town)made me very proud to hear and see all those TVR's flying about.

So you shouldn't be! I just went for a blast and it felt wonderful. Can never feel complacent about it as it's like getting into a new car everyday!!

Woohoo!!!

To much bad news on piston heads about sp6. I know its good to talk but paranoid thoughts keep going thro my mind every time i hear a slight noise. I must enjoy the car more and not sit waiting for the big bang. posiTIVe talk only please im becoming a nervous wreck

Now I am not mocking the author, but there was a post on the owner's list recently from a guy who's car had just used 1/4 litre of oil after 8k miles, and he hoped it wasn't a sign of impending engine failure. You can get a bit paranoid with all the talk of doom around but we need to keep things in perspective. If I stopped driving mine every time it made a noise, I'd never get it out of the drive.

As a bit of a brightener I was talking to a colleague yesterday who has an X plate Tuscan - one of the first.

He's at 20K and still going strong, no problems at all but has just had a clutch.

But then saying that I've probably scuppered him now!
