Front end protection
Discussion
I have just purchased a 2001 Tuscan which i collect next Thursday and during my study of used ones i have noticed that they are particularly prone to stone chips on the front end.
I was wondering if anyone had the clear plastic covering that you can get fitted to other cars to protect against stone chips but is almost invisable.
If anyone has i would like to know where they had it done, the cost and if they were happy with the way it looked. Obviously i don't want anything that upsets the look of that front end.
Thanks in advance.

The stuff you're looking for is Armourfend
Don't have it myself, but others here do. Nubbin has it on his Tamora but it took quite a battering at Bruntingthorpe as I recall

I posted a long thread on this a while back, and I think it was an even split whether to armorfend or not. On certain colours it looks crap IMHO, and the cost is almost the same as a service bonnet respray. Also Armorfend invalidates paintwork warranty which is a point to consider.
Sorry just noticed yours is a 2001 so does it come with any sort of bodywork warranty? If not, then the choice is yours. Try and see as many colours as you can with it on.
