Yep maam they all do that. Gave up on my radio, reception crap. From recent pictures posted it looks like TVR now put an aerial on the boot,so they must recognise the prob. Daresay it could be done by a local dealer. I just stick to listening to the exhaust note and occasional cd if stuck in slow traffic.

The aeiral is in the window screen on TVR's & generally they are not very good, mine works better in Belgium than in the UK! The best fix is the mod wise aerial kit which uses the fuel tank as a ground plane, I hope to have this fitted at the next service.I have the CD changer in the boot and that works fine although speaker are not very good I am looking at having these up-graded along with fitting some speakers in the front.Best fix though is a set of Carbon Can Co exhaust with thoes you don't worry about such items as ICE.

The mod-wise aerial amplifier improves matters by about 98% Well worth the £35 or whatever it costs. Takes about 30 mins to fit. Rich...

Yep, agree about the Mod-Wise aerial, easy to fit and works!

The standard aerial is around the front windscreen surround, the one on the boot, I believe, is for those new fangled DAB radios

... so where do i get hold of a Mod-Wise upgrade? Occasionally, it's nice to have a radio for the traffic alerts

Have a look at www.mod-wise.com/page10.html for details of the aerial kit and www.mod-wise.com/page2.html for prices.

Note, this aerial fits INSIDE the boot so it leaves the external body alone, no big aerial sticking out looking unsightly!

It really does work, if you are at PistonFest this weekend give me a shout and have a listen - red Tuscan with PistonHeads.com stickers
