Very strange thing happened this weekend, happily crusing arouond the b-roads of Hertfordshire when the carpet in the passenger footwell suddenly became unstuck and just flopped down from where it goes underneath the dash...Got back home and then noticed carpet on back shelf behind seats has suddenely started to become unstuck at the egdes and curl up, PLUS, opened the boot and the carpet on the underside of the boot lid started to hang down!!!

This felt very spooky as it all happened on the same day and has not happened before...Have TVR fixed the glue to expire on the same day !!!

What glue do they use so that I can do some running repairs in time for Pistonfest?...

It was probably just the humid weather that did that - humidity contains water and water and heat break the bonds in glue (causes a hydration layer). So thats probably why. I used good ole superglue on the MG carpets.

Same problem on passenger side footwell Stu the carpet had been pulled apart to fit CD multichanger and every now and again becomes unstuck probably from the heat of last weekend im having difficulty in keeping it in place because of the way the cables run however since putting some gum gum type mastic from a mate whos a plumber it seems ok i will ask him what it was and get back to you. I thought the S was going in to be repaired? if not i will see you at the Royal Oak?
