Now I know how all these pretty girls feel in the summertime, with the attention the get from all others around. I had a day trip docking at St Malo yesterday morning then drove for @200 miles using the small D roads through villages etc, and what a response from the locals, it was thumbs up, smiles, and even quite a few whistles and Wows!whenever we passed or stopped off. We rounded off the day at "Mont St Michel a must for everyone to visit" it was quite funny sitting up there on the ramparts watching the people walk up and around the car then put their heads in for a closer look take a couple of backward steps for a final look before heading off. The only downside to the day was the speed limiter sitting beside me, as soon as we went into 3 figures her hands gripped tightly on the first thing she could find, I suppose sitting in the middle of the road facing oncoming traffic is slightly worrying at these speeds. Has anybody else had the same experience abroad with the locals, and did you also leave the roof and window panels off whilst away from the car or is that a little foolish?
