Just bought one!

Daft question time - I've been looking around the web and can't find a definitive answer...
We've bought (or will have.. ) this Tuscan, it's a 2002 model, 4 litre. Does it have 360 or 380 bhp? We've seen both mentioned but can't work out which bhp we're getting (not that it matters other than to wind my brother up... )

If it is a standard Tuscan it should have 360BHP. If it has had the Red Rose conversion then it has a number of updates to the car including an engine upgrade to 380BHP.

I pick my Tuscan S up on Wednesday I am driving my wife mad, as it is difficult to stop talking about it.
Congratulations.... Is this the same person who used to work for a certain American semi conductor company!
BTW has your new car got the close ratio box installed?
Alistair
Well if it's a 2002 car is should in theory be either a 3.6 (350bhp) or an S (390 bhp). If it's not got a spoiler (an S) on the back it's likely to be a 4.0 at 360 bhp, unless it has been rebuilt and the owner has upgraded the engine bits at the same time to a 380/390 bhp engine (one or two people have had this done).
I guess only the factory will know!
Cheers,
Andy.

Ah
Mr Peebles, I may well have worked for a semi conductor company in High Wycombe. How are you? Yes it has got the close ratio box.
How is yours?
I am currently enjoying a years holiday and living in Perth, Australia until the end of the year. Glad to be out of the rat race! Still into the stocks and hoping for a return to form towards the end of the year
The Tuscan S is gone after owning it for a year. It was a fantastic car (Troublefree....) and great to drive. The looks you get when driving around make you feel like you own the road. Never got to experience the CR box though as mine was one of the first and the new boxes were not installed until late last year. Just be careful in the damp! I was gently overtaking in mine in third and the back end could easily step out. Whatever you do don't put your foot flat to the floor!
Hopefully we can pick her up on Saturday....oh today is going so slowly!
The dealer is fitting air con and painting any panels with stone chips for us. They said that TVR sent a wrong pipe for the air con kit, so we're hoping it will be in by tomorrow, or else we'll have to wait another week!

We picked it up this weekend...
