I've done it....Paid a deposit for the Chameleon Green Tuscan S with Cream / Green Interior. It's their Demo car and it's the DB. Need to wait about 3 weeks until I can collect....d'oh. I want it now!!

Before I collect is there anything I should get done...I was thinking about Steel Cans from CCC or Titanium finish and getting them to fit a connector in boot to trickle charge when not being used. Anything else??

Philip,

Welcome to the Tuscan S club. Yes I would get a trickle charger connected in the boot, I have and as I only use car at the weekend it ensures its fully charged every time I want to use it.

I didn't go for the CCC cans as thought they were too loud! only because live in a small cul-de-sac which would not go down that well. I still have customised sport cans (see profile) which are loud but not as extreme...suits me anyhow but they have stopped making them now.

Alan.

Contrats on the S !!!!!!

CCC are the best thing I have purchased for my RR, but beware and ask your dealer, if you fit CCC you may invalidate your warranty.

Best thing to do is if you fit them, keep your old cans, use some copper grease when you put them on and them it will only take 10 mins to put you old one on if need be…

Has anyone changed the rather crappy fuel cap? Does anyone make a better one? Are the other filler caps also plastic and can they be "improved"?

Philip, try www.leventechnology.co.uk/ for a new alloy fuel cap. I haven't fitted one myself, but others have mentioned it in here before if you do a search.

Where did you buy your car from? Depending on where, Leven do alloy caps with the dealers logo. I got a Mole Valley one and it is an automatic recommendation!

Get one straight away and you'll never be stuck at the petrol station trying to undo the bloody thing!

There'll be some new ones up later from our trip to Le Mans. Had the "loud" cans on all the way..

These are my exhausts... PS. Saw a DeTomaso Pantera at Ascot today and it sounded sweet! But not as good as these puppies!

I had just got them on the car in that video!

They are the dogs danglies and I love scaring and delighting people in equal doses...
