Have had to put any juice in yet but it wont be long.

Do you guys tend to fill her up until the pump cuts out? (And do you get any splashes overflow?)

Or do you play safe and work out how many litres you want before you start.

I just fill till the pump cuts out, and haven't had any splash back so far. I'm actually pretty surprised by the accuracy of the fuel gauge as well - so far, it's been pretty much spot on.

Maf,

I always keep her filled up after a long run...never let it go below 10 if I can help it. Saying that one day I did an exceptional long run and was holding out for a Shell optimax station and it got to down to 5 and the petrol warnings came on!

I always leave nozzle in until it cuts out and have never had any splash back.

Agree with Ed, seems to be very accurate.

Alan.

Fortunately zero on the fuel gauge is remarkably inaccurate. This has helped me out on a couple of occasions. Surprisingly good range when the fuel is low though you have to be steady as the fuel sloshes around a lot (readings jump by up to 10 litres.)
