Picked up my new Tuscan on Sunday. As the dealer pulled it out of the garage for me quite a bit of water came out from under the splitter. He thought it was washer bottle leak but having phoned the service guy to day he said it was more likely just trapped water running free from being washed the day before.

It continued to drip for the rest of the day but slowed up and virtual nothing today until I parked it pointing uphill when I got a reasonable amount of water from under the passenger side door. Though I suppose the could be condersation from the aircon?

So my question is how long does you Tuscan drip for and where from after you wash? Do you find little puddles under the car after using your aircon?

This thread is also relevant.

I'm ashamed to admit it, but I've only actually washed my car once, and don't remember it dripping for that long. Saying that, it was a really hot day, and it didn't take long for the drive to dry out anyway.

Mine always drips water from the aircon when it's been on though.

Shame on you Ed. I hope the one time you washed it was before the Sunday meet!

Thanks for your answers.

Whereabouts do you find water collects after you have had the aircon?

Actually, it had it's 1000 mile service last week, so when I picked it up on Saturday it had been cleaned for me!

I actually washed it a couple of weeks ago - I was going to try out my new Zymol kit, but ran out of time!

I've not really looked that closely at the aircon water, but I'd probably say it was around the splitter area.

Maf,

I've noticed a little water...but then again I wash mine once a week but also expect a little water anyway due to aircon...

So don't think its anything to worry about.

I wash mine weekly (sad), and get no leaks whatsoever.

Just the EFI warning pop up when I start the engine due to the water on the sensors which goes away in about 30 secs.

Hmm. It is stil doing this. And it is a reasonable amount of water too. My fluid levels aren't changing though. Anyone have any idea on what is that side of the car? Perhaps I have got a blocked drainage channel somewhere that is causing it.

Confused!!! Where have you guys been to find the
weather to use the aircon? Mines still in the box so
to speak. Umbrellas seem more the order of the day!
