Spec Spec Spec!!!
Discussion
Argh! This is a long one..!
I cannot decide on my exterior/interior colour spec - no sooner do I decide on one that I'm happy with then I change my mind. Am I the only person with this problem (probably not!)?
Car is a Tuscan S - as it stands at the moment, the car is being sprayed in Cosmos Blue Metallic, and then the interior is Magnolia with navy bits here and there (radio pod, change-up pod, gear/handbrake gaiter etc) to break it up a little.
It looks nice, (i've seen a similar Tuscan) and its a classic colour combination.
The only thing is, I know it'll look nice but I also had this craving for a black interior, with bright blue seat inserts, and highlights (in similar places to the navy on my current spec) but wasn't sure how it'd turn out.
Magnolia is what I'd very much associate with a classic interior for a sports car but then the Tuscan isn't really a "classic" sports car. Its very much futuristic (for want of a better word) in its' design and so maybe something a bit out of the ordinary for the interior would suite it.
What do people think of the black with blue inserts etc? Too much? I thought about the lighter blue (ie not navy blue) carpets as well. Shall I just stick with the Magnolia which I know works and will probably be more likely to sell if I ever put the car up for sale? Or shall I just take a chance and go for something a bit more daring!

Sixspeed, a mate of mine has an Audi S3 with the black/blue colour interior. Have a look at www.markgoldie.co.uk/s3/S3.html
I know it's not a Tuscan but it may help you visualise it.
Cheers,
Graham

Lol - I think I already visited his site when I was looking for exterior colours. I did consider the Nogaro Blue Pearl but I wanted something a bit darker.
Do you think the Black/Blue interior would look good on the Tuscan?
I must admit, my dealer got all excited when I first mentioned it because he's bored of all the Magnolia interiors he sees!

Hrmmmmm....
Difficult decision here - but Graham, that look was pretty much spot on! Nice one... it does look quite nice too! :-/
I'd like it to stand out, but I also need to be able to live with it everyday. Mag is easy to live with. That blue albeit quite striking, is quite nice - but then I like blue as a colour anyway.
Oh bugger - more thinking to do now. And quickly too. My car is scheduled for a Jan build. Mole Valley are gonna be pissed too if I change my spec *again*!
Actually - does anything get done for the car before the "build date"? Mole Valley wanted me to get my spec in about a month ago - I'm sure the guy said it was because they start work on the interior or something. Or is that a rubbish? Am I likely to be able to change my spec again at this stage?
