Firstly, thank you Lady Topaz for coming to my rescue in getting in here,it was much appreciated. I have a Tuscan Speed 6 on it's way to Australia and as I have only actually been with the car for 6 days in the past year (it's a long bureaucratic story don't ask) I'm not sure exactly where the VIN number or engine numbers are on the car, something the authorities will undoubtedly ask me to show to them on it's arrival. Are they on the windscreen a la Porker or secreted away somewhere else, ( no doubt under the fixed bonnet section), that should prove interesting explaining that to Mr. Customs Controler. Anyway if anyone could duck out and check their car and let me know I would be extrememly grateful. Thanks

The engine & VIN numbers are in the left hand side of the boot in a Tuscan just to the right of the CD changer in this pic.

is this a normal place for the cd changer. Mine is on the fuel tank?

That's where the factory fitted it when the car was built (May 2000), I belive they possibly moved them to the fuel tank side later.
