Just a quickie, I'm looking for a Tuscan/Cerbera shortly but was excused a test drive from my friendly TVR dealer (see Cerbera page for full details) so the question begs will a 17 stone hulk even fit ????

Assuming I can, I can live with a 0-60 time where I wont need to look at the second hands of my watch, but can you really get a quart into a pint pot???

Help

Depends, I'm that sort of weight but I'm 6 foot 4 with it... I fit in a Cerbie but can't see out very well but have no probs with a Tusc. However I knew a chap who was around 18 stone but shorter and couldn't fit comfortably behind the wheel.

I guess the answer is if you're 17 stone with a bit of height you should be fine.

I haven't read your post in the Cerbie column yet, but I had real problems getting a test drive from a main dealer. I ended up with an independant and have just got my third TVR (a Tuscan) from them. However the most accomodating main dealer I found was TMS and the dealer I do my business with is David Gerald (they're getting a very nice Cerbie in soon!).

Cheers

Yeah but he had it under his arm. Probably thought it was a rugby ball, same sort of shape.

Speaking as someone who is not overly tall and not overly light ( ! ) the answer is yes!

Graham, 5'9", too close to 17 stone

Buy one, squeeze in and use it as incentive to lose weight (or improve power/weight ratio to give it it's technical term). After all if it's too tight you'll be stuck until you drop a stone or two.

Thanks to all who help satisfy me (apart from my friendly local TVR Center) who helped prove that Jabba the hut can indeed fit inside a Tuscan and not only a chaise lounge.

Well see if it's as easy to cut me out of it if and when I write it off!

Cheers

All modern TVR's have been designed to fit Wheeler, who is 6'6"

I'm 6'4" and not overly thin (see fat) and havent had a trouble with any of the modern cars.
