Is anyone aware that there is to be a minor change to the Tuscan S, along with a major price increase. The price of the S will have increased by around 2000 pounds, and for this extra cash you will receive a massive extra 10BHP. I was wondering what sort of performance enhancement this will make to 0-60 times and 0-100 times? Anyone have any idea? Thanks Steve

Can't see it making much of a difference. The current 'S' which I just bought is reported on paper to do 0-60 in 3.8secs & top speed of 190plus ...thats fast enough for me.

If they start increasing you would be getting closer to the T400 & T440 which IMHO would detract people from spending an extra 20k for the T400/T440 for 20/40bhp more, doesn't make sense from a marketing point of view.

This seems like TVR are trying to sort out the range in a logical way.
The Tamora/T350C supposedly the entry level models but can come with engine upgrades to provide 400bhp.
Sort of messes things up doesn't it.

Makes sense to me. An extra 20k for a Carbon Fibre body, aluminium chassis, sequential box, 440hp engine etc...

Seems worth it to me although I'd like them to translate this to a Tuscan body in Carbon Fibre and better chasis. I would pay £70k for a Tuscan S like this.

PS, If they're charging an extra £2k then why don't they shell out on quality suspension like Ohlins which are an OEM supplier as well?
