Well done Tuscaneers on the Tuscan Forum!
Discussion
Having looked around the other Forums, I would like to just thank you, and say well done to all you Tuscaneers on this very civilised Forum for your relative sobriety!
It seems that Tuscan owners are maybe a little more reserved and slightly wiser than most (whoops!, head down)
Edited version: It may be the case that Tuscan owners are more reserved in their judgement, wiser when it comes to reacting to other posts and as such don't feel the need to post pointless comment. This is just an observation of course
So it is that I maintain a BIGThank you to you all for keeping this space free of idle crud and uneccesary traffic - not hogging lane 2 of the Motorway so to speak
It makes a big difference to those that genuinely want help and advice. Thanks also for not indulging in slanging matches, firing abuse or lowering the more professional tone of this space!
(unlike me of course! where I just type whatever comes into my head at the time!) as has been demonstrated by the content and subsequent replies to this post
keep it up
Simon
There was never any intention of blowing the Tuscan Trumpet, simply to thank everyone for keeping this forum relatively free of the rubbish that typically follows!!!

I'm certain it has a lot to do with the nature of the characters that buy Tuscans, knowing full well what they are getting into 'eyes wide open' and yet still buy into this (relatively -performance vs cost-) expensive car that might go pop!
I think it's quite interesting. If I have ever jumped out of my pram and posted a slightly dodgy reply or topic on here, i notice that there are a number of very sane, very calm (semi-lurkers) who calmly come back with a gentle reminder that i am ever so slightly out of shape on the issue!!!
reminds me a little of helicopter pilots - generally a mad bunch who love to live life to the full in everyway, but when it's time to fly they are ice calm!
(wot a load of old bull!)
whoops I hit the submit reply button!

Typical for a Griff owners reply on a Tuscan site...............

Just as well the low lifes in the S forum don't visit the 'T' car forums too often, otherwise the standards would drop .

Hold on let's go back a few steps.
FFSGAL is my comment so I should know what it means. I was commenting on this thread and how it was redefining the Tuscan Speed 6 Forum as a 'Forum For Self-righteous Gratification And Loquaciousness'.
It is very interesting and somewhat ironic that the mature 'Tuscaneers' immediately placed such an interpretation on FFSGAL.
Returning to the original thread. In the words of my old granny (now gone God Bless Her) S-PINR. And before some mature 'Tuscaneer' puts a disreputable interpretation on this as well it basically states that 'Self-praise is no recommendation.'

Jigs, by way of some kind of apology for sounding arrogant, which was never the intention! I have edited my first post
However my comments are viewed, it is still true that this Forum has (until now!!!) remained relatively free of unecessary exchanges like these - for example
The forum is for Tuscan owners, like it or not. I find it interesting that you felt the need to step in and make comment.
Finally, I think it should be left to the users of this forum to criticise the content of their own space!
best wishes
Simon
