Tuscan Targa Top or Not ?
Discussion
Only neg point is that taking just the roof off and not the rear screen make driving at anything over 80+ almost impossible as the 'booming' wind noise is literally deafening as you approach 100 - 110.
(Note for Mr PC Plod.. the above speeds are inches per week not mph...honest guv..) ha ha
Do it buy one..I had a chimp 500 (and still miss the burble of the old V8 but whoooa the Tusc is evil and i like it! (Note to the enviromentalists...it does more mpg too! 23mpg ave compared to the 18mpg in the chimp)
Good Luck

Steve,
When I was considering swapping to the Tuscan I used to drive the Chimaera with the roof panel off and the rear screen up to try to emulate the feel of a Targa as on the Tuscan.
I also agree with Darrel about not leaving the rear screen in with the roof on but for slightly different reasons. I had the rear screen blow out at 80 due to a loose rear catch with the roof on so I would never trust it to stay in place with the roof off.

I find it's <30 seconds to remove the rear screen and nearer a minute to fit. Just make sure it's centralised before fitting either catch.
Rear screen in/out.... several minutes of twating around both in and out... only worth it for long (>1 hr) trips.
I think it's also worth it for any fast journey with the roof off, 'cos the buffeting above 60 is unpleasant.
