Standard Tuscan v 'S'
Discussion
I may have an oppurtunity to buy a 51 Reg 'S' at a very good price in the near future. Has anybody owned both models and got any comments on the differences between the two?
I prefer the uncluttered look of the standard car's rear end, and I also prefer the colour of my car (Ferrari alloy pearl - ice blue by any other name) to the available 'S' (Reflex charcoal). There would have to be a considerable difference in handling and performance to take the plunge.
Any opinions would be appreciated.

I went from a Red Rose to an S in March. Not fully run in yet so not sure about performance improvements but the handling is much much better. The turn in is just as sharp but it is easier to keep the car composed through fastish corners. Also feels rock solid at higher speeds and doesn't have the same nervousness under heavy braking.
Overall a much better drive.
