Strange smells

No, not me.

When the car is hot there is an occaional smell usually after braking, smells like ammonia (fishy) then goes away.

Also, car is starting to smell very hot, is this normal?

I get this and I presume this is normal as after 3,600 miles I have had no probs (TOUCH WOOD!!)

My car went into Mole Valley for a few niggly things (rubber seals etc.) and they commented that my engine is a good'un! They only replaced a faulty lamda sensor and thats it...

I'm getting smells, and thumping headaches (lasting a couple of days) after a long drive, especially with the roof off....there's another thread about this somewhere, along the lines of Is my TVR killing me, I think.

When you switch the heater on in mine it smells like someome is peeing on you (I promise I haven't had that actually happen or anything).

The smell was the same in the other one I test drove. When the dealer switched the heat on to demist the screen, he said it smells like this one has air con but that he'd been told it hadn't. Smelt like pee to me.

Hot smell is normal.

Fishy smell is not normal. It is probably a water leak somewhere. Hot coolant sometimes smells fishy.

Exhaust or petrol leak Luca ?? Car chucking too much petrol into front carbon canistor which you then breath in the fumes ??

I've never had a problem with my Tuscan with and I nearly always go topless
