Running really rough
Discussion
Going into work on Friday I noticed the Tuscan was running a bit rough: it seemed to be struggling when I put my foot down, almost stuttering. A call to TMS suggested that the plugs may have become fouled as we've been running the car is a lot of slow moving traffic, and a good blast with plenty of high revs should hopefully clear things.
Well, we've just got back from having a good blast, plenty of varied driving conditions and lots of high revs, but it's still misbehaving - mis-firing and stuttering when you pile the revs on. It's fine if you bring them on gradually though.
Any clues before I have to take yet another trip back to TMS?

Hmmmm....
My Oct 2002 Tuscan S has always had an occasional s-s-s-stuttering problem.
But it's not bad at all, especially when warmed up, and it still goes like the clappers. However, have taken it back to TMS about it and they reckon it needs a new set of HT leads. Which I'm currently waiting for. They say there was a bad batch of HT leads about the time of my car.
Doubt yours will be anything serious. There, that'll definately put the kiss of death on it.
