spirit total warranty

hi all ive just purchased a earley 2000 tuscan with most factory upgrades but not had any engine/topend rebuilds the car comes with this warranty, As any one had any experience good or bad with this warranty? will it cover engine rebuild? the policy doc says claim limit is retail value of car? e-mail off line if you dont wish to name and shame!! thanks TONY

I have Tony. Haven't had cause to use it yet. Touch wood. Sorry I can't answer on how good it actually is.

My dealer made the Spirit start date the day after the factory warranty runs out.

thanks gary have a read of policy do you think it covers top end/engine i cant work it out?

My dealer has used this policy since I have dealt with them(1998). They are now changing over to one called something like Car Cover or Car Care.

I know that with the total Spirit warranty it helps if you have a good dealer to fight your corner. From reading the lists over the years, it does seem they are not the best for paying out, in particular for engine problems. Best speak to your dealer.

I am changing over to the Car Cover one in June this year, sticking with my dealers recommendation for peace of mind
