Sorry to raise this again... but...

Do the Cans people have been talking about recently sound different from piped standard cans.?

Also how long should a Tuscan exhaust last.? I've just had mine welded as it was developing holes and have been advised I'll need a new one shortly. The car is only 18 months old.

Have heard piped cans. Sound good, but maybe a touch raw. But as said before it all boils down to personal choice. The bought cans do IMHO look the dogs. Would suggest you maybe talk to Simon at the Carbon Can Company. He will be happy to tell you the other advantages of Cans over piped, and no its not just hard sell. By the way my CCC cans deep and loud. Excellant. Good luck

They sound very different. Don't ask me why - I've no real idea. I had mine sleeved for about 3 months and thought it an improvement on the standard. More of a howl under hard accelleration and more popping

Then I got CCC cans. Wow!! Amazing sound and seriously loud. Not for the more dicreet among us for sure, but IMO well worth the cost. Do it!
