So what do you think you can buy one for after severe negotiations

Deposit is £1000 which gets you on the list, with the remainder of the 10% (£6500) payable when yours is ready to build. However I've been informed that if you cough up the full 10% straight away, they'll move you higher up the list. I think a year is a good time - gives them time to iron out any initial niggles and also gives them time to produce (hopefully) a T500R!
