Black / Dark Paintwork
Discussion
I have Moonraker Black paintwork I was aware black shows the dirt but fine whispy scratches just seem to appear from nowhere do you guys have the same problem I am very careful when cleaning is this something I have to live with or is there a majic wax out there?....the scratches seem to be just on the surface lacquer....
Danny you have to be extra careful when you wash the car that you don't get any, ANY, dirt in the sponge etc because after several washes you'll see the swirls where you've been washing - don't try cleaning your car if your in a rush!
Then you need to polish after almost every wash, even the chamois leaves a smear it seems, I use Autoglym Resin Polish (buckets of it) - it says it reflects the light out of any surface blemish and it does
Dark colours are a pain in the carbon can!
Just keep polishing that mother!
