Best cans to go for

They will also be on the Tuscan S that you will be test driving on Saturday at Castle.
Alan.
Not sure about that, as someone wrote off their demonstrator a couple of weeks ago!
How do your cans compare to the standard ones?
Also, they look very similar to the ones that HHC are offering - do you know if they are the same?

Ed,
I didn't know that someone wrote off their nice blue demonstrator!!! What happened?
Only had time to run mine in for 250 miles since Saturday...but the sound is very meaty. The 'late' car at Castle had been run in and sounded incredible.
Where are you based? In Essex? As if you were close I could pop my car over for you to take a look at. I'm in south Essex. Let me know.
Think there are a few different options on exhausts...depends on personnel taste (and whether your trying a sales pitch of your product on here )

Alan,
I'm in Woodford Green, which is N/E London/Essex. I'd love to see your car in the flesh, so thanks for the offer!
From what I gather, a prospective owner borrowed it for a couple of days (after paying a pretty hefty deposit and insuring it), and claimed he was hit from behind and pushed into a ditch. Funny thing is that when Castle got the car back, there was no sign of any damage on the rear! Oops!

The ONLY place to go is The Carbon Can Company

Just picked-up a pair myself this week. They do carbon, titanium etc and the powder-coated finish is superb!
From the rear, they look exactly like standard Tuscan cans, unlike a few I've seen on this site, which are obviously motor bike cans nailed on! And unlike Bike cans they are purpose-made for the job - straight-thru' and larger bore!

Ed,
Well I'm based in Southend, so I guess only 45 mins in the car (its not run in yet or could probably do in 30 mins)
So happy to show you sometime. I will be at the Mid-Essex meet this Sunday...where, from what I hear, it will be the centre of attention for this months meet.
If you wanted to come along & have not attended before I could forward you the directions...not far off the A12.

How does the sound compare to the standard cans then?

The system that we supply for the Tuscan is purpose built and designed. It is not a question of simply 'nailing on' a pair of motorcycle cans. You get a full stainless steel, larger diameter bore system with a choice of titanium finish rear cans which are smaller, lighter, and straight through. All for only £600 and guaranteed to fit as they are exactly the same as the standard exhaust. Please don't hesitate to contact us for any further information or assistance. Best regards,Tony Abrams.
Tony,
Tks for clarifying...it annoys me when someone says 'nailing on a pair of motorcycle cans'...think someone is trying on the hard sell of The Carbon Can Company. I got my car sepc'd with a pair like yours fitted by Castle which I picked up last Saturday. They sound great and look good to. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion though I guess, I certainly would recommend them. I wouldn't want to have the same set up as all other owners

Hi Alf,
We can can compare systems on Sunday at mid-Essex. Gauntlet down (with my "nailed on" much cheaper straight though larger bore Carbon Company Cans). Your S should sound slighty different as they have the larger bore all the way through.
btw all you need to do is get a steel pipe and slide it into the existing cans if you want a really cheap solution.
Cheers,
Andy.

Ed, sorry to take a while to reply but things have been hectic! Yes basically if you have a Tuscan 'S' then all you need are the rear cans which we can supply for £300 exc. They will take a matter of minutes to fit and we can mail order. All you need to do is choose your finish... matt or 'rainbow' titanium. Regards, Tony Abrams.
