According to the manual they are set up for normal 95RON unleaded. However it is recommended to use super 97RON for trackdays. I run mine on both dependant on what mood I'm in. They only differences I have noted is very occasional pinking if you labour a gear in hot weather with the normal stuff. That's so rare it's hardly worth mentioning. In reality for everyday use it is fine on normal. I have started filling it with the new Shell Optimax at 98+RON which does give a better pick up, goes like stink. I suppose it depends on how hard you want to drive it. Normal unleaded is fine for everyday use.

I noticed during the week that BP are now selling 98 RON again too.

I contacted BP recently after spotting 98Ron stickers in a couple of local BP petrol stations. I was told that this was caused by the laziness of the owners in not changing the stickers to 97Ron, and was told that BP SUL is definetaly 97.
