Tuscan R / 440R
Discussion
Some have been ordered by people here - no test drives yet as far as I know. I think the dealers are going to be reluctant to get demonstrators as that is a lot of car to be hanging around their forecourt. I suspect the only way will be to contact the factory for a test drive - and as they have sold this years run already they may not be in a hurry!
Factory just beginning to get round to inviting deposit holders up to the factory for schmooze & "test" (won't be coming to dealers).
I've only sat in the "passenger seat" of the ex-Rollcentre car round Rockingham. Besides the fact that Mr Shorts talent bag suddenly acquired a large hole and we slid majestically backwards into the gravel on turn 2.....it is unreal compared to "normal" car.
If you can get hold of the EVO copy with the trip to LeMans story - read that and extrapolate as they have refined the handling even more (I am lead to believe). The Ferrari mentioned in that story on the trip back is a friend of a colleague....he couldn't believe it when it whanged past.

Ordered one at the Motorshow last year, and due for completion in Spring 2004. I've been informed that the factory T440R will be at the Croft (Darlington) trackday on the 21st March (Hexham HC) and that I should be able to have a test drive! I'll be taking a digitl camera along with me so I'll be able to pass some pics onto Ted.
