After a year of deliberation, I have finally gone and bit the bullett and bought a Tuscan...and what a machine it is too!

But it was not without first having shed a tear over selling my glorious Chim and over the thought that I shall never again be in control of that gorgeous V8 soundtrack. That car was my introduction to TVR, the reason why I hope never to be without a Blackpool beast again and gave me 22,000 faultless miles in 18 months of ownership.

It was the best of days, it was the worst of days.

But what a cracker of a car I have got! A beautiful factory-maintained 18 month old Chameleon green burble machine. A great Tuscan sourced by James Agger Autosport.

I cannot recommend James highly enough for his even-handed approach to both the buy and the sell. The process has been very painless thanks to James and also to Rob Ingleby who at a moments notice zipped up to Blackpool from Northampton to provide me with a very comprehensive report into the Tuscan (and at a very reasonable price too). Thanks also to David Batty for, well being David Batty and verifying the bona fides of my Chim and undertaking to take on the task of servicing the Tuscan.

I pick the car up on Friday and I cannot wait!

So, if anyone is after a 1999 Silver Chimaera in cracking condition, you could do worse than ring James Agger...

Welcome to the club! I was in the same position, traded in my 4.5 Yellow Chim for a new Tuscan S...collecting this weekend. Will miss that unforgettable V8 sound but have to move on to something faster!

Thanks James...the last time I felt like this was Christmas eve when I was 9. Then I got a Hornby train set (still have it somewhere), now I get the Tuscan. AND I JUST CANNOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!

Well done David,
Welcome to THE BIGGEST SMILEY CLUB in Great Britain, I agonised as much as anybody, cos to me there wasn't another car in the world like the Griffith until I, sorry correction, my wife and I took a Tuscan for a test drive.
The immense satisfaction of being behind that wheel either on the motorway or especially in slow moving City/Town traffic has yet to be equaled, step forward Halle Berry if you feel the need for a challenge, although whilst writing this a little part of my engine has gone back to the seaside for some "rest and recouperation " nothing major my dear service agent informs me.
On another note has anyone heard or known what a de-catted machine sounds or goes like?
Once again David WELCOME.
