Would like to get a set of wheels for track days only. Plenty of cheap sets of 16's around but my car currently runs on 18's and has had the RR brake upgrades. What are the implications of running two different size sets of wheels, one for track and the other for road. Is it even feasible or am I going mad?

To start off are you sure 16" wheels will fit over the RR brake calipers?..I am no expert but I thought that was part of the reason 18" wheels were fitted.

When you say RR brake upgrades if you mean the later drilled discs 16" will fit. I did 18,000 in mine with 16", they provide a lot more comfort and practicality on the road. 18" better on track.

Clubsport, that was one of my key concerns but it sounds as though it won't be a problem according to fish. Cerberus1, I may be interested. E-mail me at simon.david@aon.co.uk with details.
