What is exactly done to the Tuscan alloys when they are refurb'ed by a specialist / dealer?
Do they look pristine once done?

If somone has had them done, what was the cost?

I had one of the 18" Spiders on my Tamora repaired by Wicked Wheels after some kerb damage.

They removed the wheel, ground out the damage, filled/repaired back to original profile, primed, undercoated, top coated, lacquered and refitted the wheel, all for £40 plus VAT.

Apparently they will completely refurb a wheel for the same price.

I know this is a very picky point, but the 18" spiders have the TVR logo on them - like a sticker under the lacquer. I take it that if the wheels are repaired that they paint over this - or do they just paint over the localised repair area and blend the repair in to the point that it is unnoticable?

Mine didn't have the TVR logo on the spokes of the wheel, so it wasn't a problem.

The area that was repainted was just blended in to the surrounding paintwork. THe colour match was so good that I can't find the damaged area now.
