Just having the first service since I bought the Tuscan at the end of September last year, to be told that the rear bushes need replacement. Has anyone else had this problem on a Tuscan that has done less than 10,000 miles (only 1,500 by me)? Should this have been picked up in the road safety check less than 1,500 miles ago by the dealer? Anyone heard of bushes failing in 5 months and less than 1,500 miles?

Yes, this happened to my car after 9000 miles. Apparently they are prone to this occurring! At which point I expressed my surprise that a part should fail so quickly only for the dealer to look at me like I had come from a different planet. Tanslating his look it said "What do you expect it's a new model TVR". I retreated like a scolded dog with my tail between my legs, too scared to probe any further.

Mine were done at 12,000. It would appear to be normal, probebly due to the soft string hard damper set up.

When mine were done though they put extra washers in to stop them wearing out as quick. This was as Hexham Horseless.

Good news! Just spoken to the dealer. They have replaced the bushes FOC considering the circumstances.

Thanks for the responses.
