Noise level question in db's

Anyone aware of what noise level you get out of a standard Tuscan with standard exhaust or how they measure this at a track? Want to take mine around Thruxton but they seem concerned that it might be too loud! Also what could I do that will not cause any grief for the engine to make it quiet whilst on the track?

Hi

I have had 2 standard Tuscans tested at Goodwood - they measure at 0.5m from the exhaust, at 3/4 revs. Both times gave 97dB.

yup I've had 96db

There's usually concern about TVR's but the standard fit exhaust seems to be pretty quiet

Also it only revs to 3.5k doesn't it?
