Hey guys,
I have heard about the problem of the sun glaring off the brass surround of the speedo. How much of a problem is this really? I mean, if you wear sun glasses for example is the problem eliminated or is there still a relative glare??

it is not really a problem in this country!!
I've probably noticed it twice in the last 2500 miles.

Not a problem, not really noticed it in 30,000 miles including the South Of France in 35degree sunshine - sunburn was more of a problem there!!
It is no worse than the glare you get from a car in front, i.e. you will hardly notice it

Never noticed it, with or without the roof on. Was this prompted by muppetry in the Sunday Times the other week?

It just makes it difficult to read the speedo/lcd it doesn't actually cause much of a distraction.
