Owner Handbook - Right or Wrong
Discussion
Just to clarify, although it's a bit irrelevant in real terms, my Tuscan handbook (Issue 2)says that the power on my 4 litre is 350bhp @ 7000 rpm. I constantly see the 360bhp figure bandied about in ads etc, and on various boards here!
What is the real figure (as std from Blackpool)?
Also on the subject of oil somebody recently recommended 15w-60 (Castrol RS) stating that in their owners manual Mobil 1 0w-40 was no longer recommended???? Do I have an old obsolete handbook? Mine still goes with Mobil 1. ? (And i have 16 litres in the garage from my Chimarea 500 days)??
Advice from 'out there' much appreciated?

The standard 4L Tuscan was always quoated as 360BHP, although I belive some have had them tested on rolling roads and the calculated values have come out higher than this.I belive my handbook says the same ie 350BHP this was possibly copied over from the Cerbra speed 6.
As for the oil the Castrol RS 10W60 is somthing that some dealers use, with TVR's approval.I used Mobil 0W 40 between 6 & 12K miles and oil consumption seemed quiet high around 700 miles per litre, now with the Castrol it uses less than half this, oil pressure is also higher.
