I''ve just ordered a Tuscan to replace my Ferrari F355. Am I mad? There seem to be a lot of "issues" from people here. I''ve had 5 TVRs before so I think I remember what I''m letting myself in for!!

If you've had TVRs before then you're probably going in with your eyes open and will have a ball!

Had mine 3 months, been in the garage three times ,each visit lasting for a week since I got the bl**dy thing (always for minor faults)but when you drive it you forget most of the annoying niggles .Yes , you are probably mad.

Had mine 3 months, no problems. A few very minor niggles I'll get sorted at the 6k service. Have fun.

I was hoping for some "you'll love it" kind of comments. Oh well, I've got a 360 Modena on order as well and I was hoping the Tuscan might be good enough to make me keep it and get my Ferrari deposit back. If not then I've got 18 months to "put up" with the Tuscan.

You should love it. I was in front of a 360 a month ago going down some country lanes. Simliar performance in a straight line, but because the 360 is wider, it was hopeless keeping up as I whizzed around the corners. 360 - good car for the A-roads.

Ah well you see it's those ones with the liquorice tube round the fondant center..... you wouldn't believe the margins in them! Seriously though I tested the Tuscan - Fantastic fun, bit of a gamble on reliability and will the niggles will do my head in, a Porsche 911 - very nice car, no carisma or excitement, and the 360 Modena - fantastic, especialy with the F1 gearshift, awesome engine and looks, bloody expensive and a 2 year wait. But yes, I know I'm very lucky.

the reason that bertie is driving a tuscan and not a mac F1 or EB110 is that the allsorts business isn't going so well. no-one eats the round bobbly ones.

Don't worry they're great. Okay they've had a few problems. My car is fine I use it everyday and I wouldn't change it. There are alot of postings on here from disgruntled owners but bear in mind they are the same people over and over again and there is a vast majority who have no problems at all but don't put repeated posts saying; I drove my car today and it worked perfectly. Maybe I should start doing that?? Oh and as I found out today Tuscans definately have a performance edge on 360's ( One disgruntled Ferrari owner!)

Got mine October 2000, best thing I EVER bought. Some minor niggles but pales into insignificance compared to the MASSIVE smile it puts on my face every time I drive it (Every day!) Remember these forums generally attract negative feedback on customer experiences, I'm sure the positive stuff would generally outweigh the negative if everybody bothered to post it! Good luck, I'm sure you won't regret it! Jon T6 JPP
