Just a note to say I got given a Leven Technology petrol cap for Christmas and it's brill! No more cut hands and fingers with no skin!

I saw it on their site today for £45! Looks Very tempting! I have to use a TVR White glove to get the damn thing off normally!

I totally recommend the Leven petrol cap replacement. Much easier than the original-fit item. (just don't tell your insurance company as it isn't type approved)

Wouldn't mind the full set for oil, water etc at the front... and some sports pipes....

For those of you who would like something on the petrol cap by way of a logo you can have a Bulldog from the TVR Centre, a Mole from Mole Valley Chessington or the TMS logo from TMS Performance Vehicles (sorry we cannont offer the TVR logo as we are not allowed to use it on petrol caps). If you would like to purchase a logo'd cap contact the respective dealer.

I've never had any problems with the petrol cap. Did they use a different type for ealier or later models? (Mine was delivered in November 2001)

Our agreement with TVR Engineering Ltd is that they will allow us to use the logo on Oil Filler Caps ONLY. We have had a good relationship with TVR Eng. Ltd for many years and wish to continue this so we respect their wishes with regard to their Trade Mark/logo.

I have never had a problem with the petrol cap, my car is an October 2000 car, did they change the design or something? Or am I just 'well ard'?

Graham, you may well be. I really did find it quite dificult to get my petrol cap off, especially when it was cold. Ok, I haven't actually drawn blood yet but the new cap is much better.
