I want to hear the good stuff!

Its true - everyone is quick to put things down, or remember the bad experiences, but I know there''s Tuscan owners out there that haven''t had any problems.... aren''t there?
I''m seriously considering a new Tuscan, but all I read is problem after problem on these pages... so enough!
If you''ve got a Tuscan then I want to hear the good things about it.. and now!
Don''t bother posting the bad stories, I''ll just ignore them! If I want to read about problems, I''ll just choose any of the other threads on this board...

Had mine since June it was nearly new 1000miles on the clock. Now it is nearly run in. Goes like stink and I've still got 1000rpm to go while I run it in. Everyone who sees it loves it. I get people stopping to chat everywhere when I'm out. Brakes are fantastic and it's so far proving reliable. The odd niggle to sort out but all very minor and now dealt with.
Anyhow track day in three weeks can't wait. It's used as an evertday car, which means I can get more beer and shopping in the back than I could in the Chimp! althought that isn't really inportant I suppose.
Great.

Bought mine in July 2000, very happy with it. Any problems sorted and haven't re-occured. Have just extended the warranty for another 2 years. Attracts oodles of attention and compliments, sounds great (exhaust mod done, no need to comment on performance. My only grumble is that with 6 month old triplets, I don't get an awful lot of chance to enjoy it.

This is better stuff (its andy btw, just setup a proper profile on here!)...
More of this please!
I'd love to have the Tuscan as a daily driver, but my annual mileage is around the 25k mark and so its going to end up being a weekend only car...
Anyone in the South London area fancy meeting up and taking me for a spin (the test drive at the TVR dealership wasn't long enough!)...

Andy, I'm taking my RR Tuscan down to Fernhurst on Friday, mid-morning, for a little bit of work, returning to Central London later the same day. If you have the time, I would happily give you a run down to Sussex and back so you can see how utterly wonderful these things are.

The sleeved rear cans done by Fernhursts. I know you're meant to be able to do it for £2.50 yourself, but if it all goes tits up as a result, I want someone to shout at!!
Result of mod is much throatier exhaust note with lots of cracking and popping on the over-run. It does sound a bit crap when cold - bit like one of those old Cherry Bomb things fitted to minis in the 80s. And there are times when making quieter progress is more appropriate - but a worthwhile mod.
