Ahhh, I take it that means it has got a 2 year engine warranty then...

Also, can't understand why a lot of people don't use their TVRs in the winter. I can understand not using it when it is icy, but most of the time it is just cold or wet or both.
Me....I don't use mine much in the winter....it might get dirty!
What's other people's reasons?

These Waxoyl posts are also confusing me (not difficult I know) but as the chassis is powdercoated, is the waxoyl process really required on vehicles less than 3 years old i.e most Tuscans S6's

Thing is Russ, the powder coating has a habbit of cracking and flaking away from the metal. Obviously when this happens you get a pocket in which water can collect leading to rust. Betre safe than sorry I guess. My Griffith is coming up 4 years old and there are a few areas like round the front wishbones where stones and muck thrown up from the road has slowly flaked the powder coating away. Hammerite and waxoil is a job for me this winter. Rich... p.s. good review of all the waxoil, underseal & rust-proof stuff in Auto Express this week, the T350 edition.

Thanks very much for clearing that one up for me, although I must say that chassis waxoyling was not a job I expected to be undertaking on a car less than 3 years old.
I guess I'd better get myself a copy of Auto Express on the way home so at least I will have some idea what type of job I shall be taking on this time next year.
