The Red Rose was a version brought out at the 2000 motorshow to highlight a special version of the Tuscan. Like the Griffith had the big valve etc.

Red Rose was an extra £4200 pounds new, (£1000 of it was 18inch Wheels) The rest was a upgrade of BHP, harder suspension and bigger Cerbera 4500 brakes.

The engine was upgraded from 360 Bhp to 380 Bhp and the only way of telling the difference on the engine is a magic marker with `Red Rose' written on it -

proper - no thrills just power!

The RR is a standard 4 litre unit which has been upgraded the extra 20BHP to 380BHP. The Tuscan S is up to 390BHP again on a 4 litre.

I thought that the red rose upgrade is now the tuscan s ( a ploy by tvr ) why do they say 390bhp for the s and 380bhp for the red rose 4 litre, i phoned up tvr and asked them to explain the difference. They said that the set and engine are the same the only difference was the aerodynamics. If anyone knows any different drop us a note
