A bit (more) rip snorting now...

(very) old and boring I know, but someone out the might like to know...
Peninsula de-catted my Tuscan a few weeks ago, it had previously been fitted with the sleeve kit also. It just sounds like an out and out racer!
Incredibly loud and offensive, although only above 4000RPM, with only slight volume (louder) and tone (tinnier) change below that.
If it's your cup of tea, give them a call.

Cool, must sound wicked!! Do you still have the sleeves in the rear cans as well ?
What did they charge you ? Do they adjust the engine fuel settings as well ? Did they think there would be any difference in performance ?
I know TVR spent some considerable time tuning the Tuscan exhaust system for maximum performance, obviously with the 3 cats(I think)in the exhaust. I doubt the factory would be happy with anyone doing this while the engine is under warranty...

I'm afraid I'm not technically minded enough for the moving stuff and sounds...
The exhausts are sleeved as well, Peninsula did those too. The car is running very rich now, but the plans are for it to be serviced in January anyway. I'll have the fueling readjusted then.
I've heard lots of good things about a chap named Mark Adams working with Power Engineering, he's managed to set up a few TVR's to produce some impressive BHP increases. I'm planning to send it there for a rolling road session straight after (if nobody out there gives me reason otherwise)
£: mine and my brother's Tuscan were the first ones they did, so i'm sworn to secrecy about the cost, cos we were the "guinea pigs"... all I can say is I didn't mind signing on the dotted line.
