geodesy camera detector

i've just bought myself a geodesy detector. does anyone know the best way to fix it in place. it comes with double sided sticky tape, but i dont really want that on the dash because of the aggro when selling the car etc. any ideas? or has anyone else fitted one on their tuscan? cheers, kagey

Hi Kevin,

I have mine on the shelf between the stereo and the dashboard but, beacuse this doesnt "see" the sky I have the extra GPS aerial which is stuck on top of the steering wheel cowling behind the rev lights. Seems to work okay although it doesnt give the best visibility of the warning lights.

I fitted mine between the radio & Speedo pod attached with Velcro & wired into the radio It works fine there and is not too obtrusive.

Place between the radio and the pod. Mount on a triangular shaped wedge of foam.
