Now that there appear to be many more S models around -can anyone tell me how much of a noticeable difference there is in performance and handling of the S versus the standard Tuscan - in short, is it worth the extra dosh?

Yes! The S handles better and has all the extras as standard. Also you can pick up a great example (Mine) currently for sale through Henley

Going away for a year's break The house is sold (Nearly) and I have already finished working. I am looking for inspiration to write a book so I figured the best place (And it's cheaper) would be in Australia near a beach. If the book sells then no worries. If it doesn't then hopefully the IT market will have recovered by 2004! Also pleased to be out of the housing market as I figure a drop has got to be on the cards. Plus I think that now is the time to invest in shares as 2003 is the year of recovery : I hope!!!!

I had the opportunity to be driven in both cars on a (short ) track, and let me tell you that from the passenger seat you can really feel the difference. Actuallly it's as simple as that:
- The Tuscan feels like its shock absorbers are made out of chewing gum
- The Tuscan S feels like it could out-handle anything in a U-turn
(sorry, just pushing it a bit )

Try both and you will be amazed how differently they behave
