Tuscan S problem with petrol smell coming through AC
Discussion
Hi all,
I need some help, I’ve got a 2003 TVR Tuscan S and whenever I turn on the aircon or just the aircon fans alone I get a really strong smell of petrol. Can anyone guide me on where might the issue stem from? There is no leak in the boot, no puddle under the car so I’m not sure whats going on.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

The HVAC fan draws air from the n/s front wing (no fuel lines here), or if there are leaks in the vent system from under the bonnet. The fuel supply to the fuel rail is basically under the centre of the windscreen so I woud be looking there first, you might need to take off the scuttle panel to get a good enough look, also at the other end of the fuel rail is the fuel return hose, there is a short section of rubber hose between the rail and the PVC hard pipe which could be perrished and leaking as it was on mine...
