Recommended tracking alignment settings help
Discussion
Hi,
I have bought new Nitrons, and am in the process of replacing all the suspension bushes on my 2001 S1 Tuscan.
I also have 3mm wheel spacers fitted as well.
Trying to read all the threads on tracking/alignement settings but it is not clear what the best ones are.
Can someone post here or point me to the latets recommended settings, it woudl be greatly appreciated.
Thx, Ken./

Best I have found seems to be form Matt Smith recommendations
14:47 (46 minutes ago)
to me
Front:
Camber -.75deg
Caster 4 deg
Toe in 10 mins total
Rear:
Camber -1 deg
Toe 23 mins total
Want to verify for those who have tried various, if this is the best.

I used to run (and still run) more toe in than that .. 20mins across the front and 40 mins across the rear. I remember neill anderson driving an early tuscan i was working on with nitron for some early damper settings (i did the tuscan/cerb and peninsula did the chim/griff stuff). he said it was all good apart from a bit soft at the front. I like a car that's stable and not too twitchy on turn in for road use these days. Track use is another kettle of sprouts.
Though to be fair, as with most things, close enough is close enough. If anyone on here can tell the different between say 20mins toe in and 23 you need to be testing for red bull f1. The toe changes more than that with an inch or two of compression/rebound. Same with ride heights. If you can tell the difference 5mm height change makes on a road car you are very sensitive! Get yourself a test driver job with a top touring car team or GTs .. !
