Using the heater for warm air for the first time since I brought the car results in no warm air. Engine temps are all fine and the car runs great. Just a bit chilly now the weathers on the change. Any ideas?

sounds obvious but try changing the temp from hot to cold to hot and spin the fan knob up and down as well.. mine forgets to work sometimes and has to be reminded....

If that doesn't fix it it could be the hot cold 'flap' is stuck. Mine did so MV pulled the carpet out from the passenger footwell, prodded it with a stick and sprayed WD40 on it.. works fine but the car stank for days.!

When I got my Tuscan the drivers side footwell carpet had not been cut away to expose the vent. Has yours?

Do you get warm air out of the steering wheel vents? I was told that these were only for cold air although I am sure I have had warm(ish) air ou of them.

The same happened to me me. Along with 'forgetting' to connect the Aircon and windsreen wiper delay knob. All work now

the only air I get is (I assume) external as it's only when the car is moving that any airflow is present.

What? There's a vent in the driver side footwell? Where is the vent hidden?

Thanks.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried and checked all you suggest. Apparently a fairly common fault is a burnt out 'pin' in the heater control box. Answer is to re wire around pin and hey presto hot air. Will post if this turns out to be the case.

Kin hell blackmonday your car sounds like it was PDI'd well.!!!!

The vents are in both the driver and passenger footwell fairly high up in the centre of the car (i.e. near the drivers left knee and passengers right knee.)
